Tech Mahindra acquired Satyam Computer

One of the country’s largest mid-sized companies, Tech Mahindra, acquired and integrated Satyam Computer Services propelling it to further heights. The move made the company India’s fifth-largest software services provider by revenue. The firm’s CEO Gurnani is looking to double his revenue to $5 billion by 2015.

Mindtree’s promising roadmap

A multi-year and multistage overhaul is on Mindtree’s roadmap. Its executives believe such a major restructuring should prepare and position the company for a more global future. In addition to revamping its marketing strategy and unveiling a new brand identity and logo, it is also looking to bring in some fresh new faces into the higher ranks of the organization. Some of the changes that occurred in the company last year were a result of steps taken much earlier, such as senior executive Greg Blount who came in from an influential consultancy TPI was tasked with winning large contracts among others.
