Western India Products  (Wipro), was founded by Mohamed Hashan Premji in Mumbai on the 29th of December, 1945 in Mumbai.

During the early days, this company was into the manufacturing of vanaspti, vegetable ghee, refined oils, etc.

After the death of Hasham Premji, his son Azim Premji became the chairman of Wipro. Within the time frame of 1970 to 1980, Wipro shifted it’s focus onto IT and Computing Industries.

4. Bajaj Auto

Bajaj Auto is the leader in scooter manufacturing companies in India.

Founded by Jamnalal Bajaj in 1930, it is now the third largest manufacturer of motor cycles in the world and the second largest in India. It is based in Pune (Maharashtra) and has plants across Aurangabad, Pantnagar.

Today, the company is headed by Rahul Bajaj. With an impressive production figure, Bajaj Auto has been successful in getting listed in The Forbes Global list of the Fortunate Companies for a multiple number of times.
