15 Things Apple Can Do With Its Whopping $137 Bn Cash Pile

#9 Give Every U.S. Student An iPad Or Two Or More

There are about 49.8 million students in K-12 education in the U.S., with an additional 21.6 million students at college, according to the U.S. Dept. of Education. Apple, with $137.1 billion cash pile, can offer an iPad, any iPad, including the recent 128 GB version, which costs about $929 to every K-12 student. If that seems quite amazing, something that can make you dumbfounded is— Apple can actually offer two of the most expensive iPads, if cheapest were considered, like iPad mini at $329, those 71.4 million students could be given five iPad mini tablets in total, and Apple would still have a few billion dollars left in the bank.
