Steve Ballmer, the CEO of Microsoft told this in an interview to Fortune. He doesn’t want his kids to use the most popular search engine and also, the most popular music player. Well, this may be accounted as Ballmer’s brand loyalty.

#11 Ethernet Inventor Predicts Internet Collapse; Later Eats His Own Words

Robert Metcalfe co-invented Ethernet, and also founded 3Com. After his insane prediction, he even declared that he will eat his own words, if the prediction fails. Needless to say, at the International World Wide Web Conference in 1999, after his keynote, Metcalfe put a printed copy of his earlier prediction into a blender, combined it with liquid and drank it!
