 #14 Bill Tai: Creating waves of wealth

Bill Tai, is a partner at venture capital firm Charles River Ventures, a serial entrepreneur, and an angel investor, passionate about startups and kiteboarding.

Like many skate borders he is passionate about the sport, and was a regular at Third Avenue in San Francisco Bay, a spot which is famous for being near Silicon Valley. He has introduced many of kiteboarders to the sport through his annual kite campsin Maui that he organizes with Susi Mai.

Tai is also a sailor, windsurfer, and Olympic Ambassador for the International Kiteboarding Society.

Paul Allen cofounded Microsoft with Bill Gates and is one of the wealthiest men on the earth. He’s famous for his niche for collecting expensive stuff such as classic computers, real estate, and sport teams like Seattle Seahawks and the Portland Trailblazers. He is involved in the philanthropic works too like funding research on the human brain and turning his computer collection into a museum.
