12 Greatest Entrepreneurs in the World

Steve Jobs

To some, Steve Jobs was no less than a mean spirit, as they threw themselves into their work on his behalf. But till date Jobs is our generation’s ideal entrepreneur. He was a visionary, inspiring and brilliant in every way. He believed that market research and focus groups only narrow your ability to innovate. When Jobs was asked about how much research was done while introducing iPad, he gave a witty reply saying, "None. It isn't the consumers' job to know what they want. It's hard for [consumers] to tell you what they want when they've never seen anything remotely like it."  His own intuition helped him create some insanely great products that ultimately created a difference in the world.  It will not be wrong to state that Jobs had relied on consumer research else Macintosh to the iPod and iTunes, the iPhone to the iPad would have not come into existence. Apple today stands at a market value of $546 billion, with around 63,300 employees.
