4. The Hearst Tower

Hearst Tower is located in New York City and is the headquarter of Hearst Corporation. Norman Foster designed this tower and Turner Construction constructed it. It is a forty-six storey tower with a height of 182 meters. It provides eighty thousand square meters of office space. It received the 'Emporis Skyscraper Award' in 2006 as the best skyscraper in the world.

More than 9,000 tons of steel was used in the construction of this tower. It is also considered as one of the eco-friendly skyscrapers in the world. The floors of this tower are one of the best features; they are embedded with polyethylene tubing which circulates temperature controlled water. Huge tanks on the roof of this tower collect the rainwater and use them for maintaining the temperature of the floor.

Gazprom is one of the largest natural gas extracting companies in the world. At present, it is the largest in Russia.
