Mishap: Hilton accidently tweeted the information that revealed her whereabouts and day-to-day activities which attracted the ‘Bling Ring’, a group of robbers who targeted celebrities. They used Google Earth to find the location and of course from the tweets they knew that she was not at the place.

Lesson: Not for celebrities alone, every user should be aware that it is not preferred that you reveal your whereabouts in any of the social networking sites. Your work, travel schedules are also not to be exposed. It would also be advisable not to locate your home in any of the search maps.
