10 Super Successful Startup Partnerships That Nailed The World

Gordon Moore and Bob Noyce

Moore’s technology and Noyce’s inspirational ‘intel’ligence

Year:  1968

Company: Intel

Partnership: Moore and Noyce were pure rebels. They were two of the "traitorous eight," a group that left Shockley Semiconductor Laboratory to begin their own rival company.  Shortly after, Moore and Noyce joined to create their own business, Intel.

How it worked: Noyce, co-inventor of the microchip, was the visionary and inspiration for Intel. Moore was avid and had a good control over technology.  The two talents joined forces to create a laid-back company called “Intel”.
