10 Super Rich Candidates Contesting 16th Lok Sabha Election



Kuldeep Bishnoi: Haryana Janhit Congress (HJC) Chief, Kuldeep Bishnoi is also one of the wealthiest candidates contesting in the 16th Lok Sabha polls. Bishnoi and his wife's combined assets were estimated at more than 78 crore. What has grabbed the eyeball of keen observers is the whopping jump of over 60 percent in the property estimated at 48 crore, which Bishnoi submitted during the 2011 Lok Sabha by-election.

The HJC chief, who chose to ride his party's election symbol tractor, while going to submit his nomination for the Hisar parliamentary seat, has movable assets worth 62.13 crore. Besides investment in bonds worth 4.61 crore, the collective bank deposits of the couple stand at 46.22 lakh. Luxury cars like Audi Q7 (45.70 lakh), Range Rover (68.47 lakh), Jaguar XF (39.39 lakh) are among the movable assets that he declared in his affidavit filed along with the nomination papers. Immovable assets worth 16.53 crore include farm land valued at 4.63 crore and industrial plot and service station worth 60 lakh. That is not all as the HJC chief is the owner of a house in Hisar and in DLF Golf Course, Gurgaon.
