A 1998 British crime-caper comedy-drama, written and directed by Guy Ritchie is a crime-caper comedy-drama set in London's East End involving four London working class stiffs- Cardsharp Eddy (Nick Moran) and pals Bacon (Jason Statham), Tom (Jason Flemyng), and Soap (Dexter Fletcher). A big-bucks scheme goes awry making the four guys owing a powerful crime lord half a million pounds and having just one week to come up with the cash. The film brought Guy Ritchie international film and raked in millions of pounds too. The film was also followed by a television series of the same name in 2000.
