How they made onto the list:

 ForgeRock's software, Open Identity Stack, can be used to tie together a centralized provisioning and access-management system for enterprise, mobile and software-as-a-service applications. The company boasts of having more than 130 corporate customers and also works on open-source model as its base. This is also one of the fastest growing startups as the company already have a community developer site by the name ForgeRock.org where are subscribers can make their products available at ForgeRock.com.

Interesting Fact:  Almost a hundred percent of the company’s talent comes from the open-source platform.

 

Lastline:

Headquarters: Santa Barbara, California

Founded: 2009

Leadership: Jens Andreassen, CEO (previously with Fortinet)

How they made onto the list:

LastLine entered into the lot by introducing their first antimalware suite, Previct, which inspects the network out of malwares and irregular codes. The suite keeps a continuous check on both, the incoming and outgoing traffic.

Interesting Fact: Founders of LastLine also started the International Secure Systems Lab (iSecLab), which helps share research across five labs in the U.S. and Europe.
