Amit Singhal

IIT-Roorke

Singhal is a top ranking software engineer in Google who was honoured with the title ‘Google Fellow’ (a title meant for most talented engineers) for his work on Google’s Algorithm.

Singhal joined Google in the year 2000 after leaving his post as a researcher at AT&T Labs (the former Bell Labs).He leads the core ranking team of Google and works to better up the accuracy, speed, and thoroughness of Google search.

He was named in the list of smartest people in tech by Fortune and India Abroad recognized him as one of 50 most influential Indian Americans.
