Honda Cars India is a subsidiary of the Honda Motor Company of Japan which concentrates in the production, marketing and export of passenger cars in India. In 2011, it publicized that it was escalating production to 210,000 vehicles per yearly due to increase in demand for its models particularly the Etios and Fortuner. Toyota is all equipped for giving its production a big boost up. Toyota Kirloskar Motor plans to trek the production capacity of its Etios series models by 75 percent by 2013.
