Israeli startup Round has a Hilarious tradition of maintaining the silence for Wednesdays. This day is called a quiet Wednesday because no talking is encouraged for the first half of the day. If anyone seriously needs to ask a question they should either email it or use IM.
#2 At Buffer people share about sleeping habits
At Buffer, the 11-employee startup in San Francisco, people follow a ‘tell-all culture’. One of its kind seems ‘pretty wild’ as described by co-founder Leo Wildrich.
For example, employees were given a Jawbone UP wristband that allows them to track their sleep, daily steps, nutrition and a lot more. Then they have to share all that to the rest of the company.
This however tried to help Buffer’s employees to improve their sleep patterns and get more productive at working.

Gudjon Mar Gudjonsson, the CEO and founder of Iceland startup OZ speaks about a unique culture hack the company follows. A team member can invite his or her mom or dad to help him or her out to cook lunch at the work place.
“It’s a great little hack that can both enhance the company culture and even increase the productivity of the team,” says Gudjonsson.
