Sure everyone is aware of the most popular social networking site, Facebook, but no one was aware of the how it came into existence. The person who is responsible for the concealing it from the media is none other than Sheryl Sandberg, the Chief operating officer of Facebook since 2008. She was the Chief of Staff to the United States Secretary of the Treasury and then worked with Google Inc. as its Vice President of Global Online Sales & Operations before she joined Facebook. She was very clear about the importance of maintaining a civilized work culture and executed the same at Facebook as well. According to her this change was required as she believed that to become a world-class company, Facebook needed to improve its class first.
