He left Silicon Graphics to set up his own venture Pictra Inc. He joined Adobe systems as a senior vice president in 1998. On 1st December 2007, he was appointed the CEO of Adobe Systems. President Obama invited him as a member in his Management Advisory Board.

Harish Manwani joined Hindustan Lever Limited in 1976. He became the senior vice president in 2001. In 2002, he was appointed the president for home and personal care business for Latin America. He was appointed the Chief Operating Officer of Unilever in June 2011. He was adjudged the Asia Business Leader of the year by CNBC Asia for the year 2008.
