Indira Varma
Indira, an English actress is the only child of an Indian father and Swiss mother. She became prominent as an actress with her role in the controversial Indian docudrama Kama Sutra: A Tale of Love.
Clancy’s Kitchen, an independent comedy released in the year 1996 was Indira’s first movie. Her other popular movies include Jinnah and Mad Dogs along with Bride and Prejudice which came as a turning point in her film career.
She has also been part of several television shows such as Crucial Tales: Phoenix, Psychos and Attachments. On stage, Indira has appeared in plays by Shakespeare, Harold Pinter, David Hare, Anton Chekhov, Noel Coward and Thornton Wilder.
She was a member of Musical Youth Theatre Company, a renowned English youth theatre company founded in 1987, in Bath in the South West of England.
Indira did her graduation from Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London in the year 1995.
