Jimi Mistry
Mistry is a popular British actor who was born to an Indian Hindu father and an Irish Roman Catholic mother in Scarborough, Yorkshire, England.
Mistry did not have any particular ambition and was confused regarding his future plans after passing out from school. It was at this point that he and his father decided that Mistry would go to drama school (Birmingham School of Speech and Drama). But, he didn’t have the patience to continue being a part of the drama school and very soon he started trying his luck in auditioning from London.
Some of his prominent roles are in movies such as East is East, The Guru, Blood Diamond, RocknRolla, and Partition. He also acted in the BAFTA-nominated movie Exam, and other films like 2012, It's a Wonderful Afterlife, Basement and West is West, the sequel to East is East.
