3. Sid Meier's Civilization
Its a turn based strategy game created by Sid Meier and Bruce Shelley in 1991. The games objective is to build an empire to stand the test of time and the player attempts to expand and develop the empire through the ages from the ancient era. Civilization was originally developed for DOS running on a PC. It has undergone numerous revisions for various platforms including Windows, Macintosh and PlayStation.
The player takes on the role of the ruler of a civilization, starting with only one settler unit, and attempts to build an empire in competition between two and six other civilizations.
