10 Employees Who Purchased the Companies, They Worked For

5. Lea Bailes
Guier Fence

Lea Bailes was working as a law advisor in a law firm. Things were going according to him until he got tired of the lawful life and started getting bored of it.

He then decided to say goodbye to his law firm and joined his father-in-law’s fencing company, ‘Blue Springs’. Bailes joined the company to take care of the accounts.

Later, when the father-in-law put the company for sale, Bailes bought the company on a monthly payment system. The monthly payment system was made only to avoid bank loans.

Today, Lea Bailes is the proud owner of ‘Guier Fence’, one of the top most fencing companies in the U.S.

6. Jason Finley
Smoothie King

Till Finley completed his graduation, he used to work for a local branch of ‘Smoothie King’. He joined the company in 1992.

After completing his graduation in 1995, he started working full time in the same company. Finley’s honest thought: “treat the business as your own, one day it can be yours” made him the favorite of his owner and forced the owner of the company to request him for his full-time contribution.

In 1997, the owner approached him with the company; Finley readily took it over from the owner and became the owner. He now owns multiple branches of ‘Smoothie King’.
