5 Bill And Melinda Gates
Bill and Melinda Gates are the co-chairs of the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, world’s largest private development organization. The organization handle the concerns like tackling extreme poverty undertaken by Melinda Gates and who is running bold campaigns for polio eradication along with her husband. Melinda said that by 2020 “affordable, lifesaving contraceptive information, services, and supplies” will be made available to 120 million women in the world’s most impoverished countries. As per Gates Foundation- funding research, the high access to contraception could protect lives of more than 10, 000 women each year.
6 Malala Yousafzai
Malala Yousafzai, the fifteen year old girl, who vouched for the right to education for girls and stood up against Taliban for her cause in Pakistan. It led to her being shot and wounded and she has miraculously survived. She became an icon in Pakistan after her bold interview; where she pleaded with late U.S. envoy Richard Holbrooke’s assistance to cease the Talibanization of her nation. She said last year about raising her voice for the convictions, “If I didn't do it, who would?"
