At the birth, internet was just a medium for people to post and access documents online so that they can access one from another. HTML is the one popular development system that has performed the unimaginable things and made the web of today. It changed the way we see the entire internet and will keep on changing it, for decades. A web without HTML or its descendants is purely unimaginable.
