Tata Motors is among the leading automobile companies of India and is head-quartered in Mumbai. Its parent company is Tata Group, a conglomerate. Previously, it was called TELCO (TATA Engineering and Locomotive Company). It manufactures - vans and coaches, trucks and passenger cars. It is South Asia’s biggest automobile firm, leads in commercial cars and ranks among top 3 in passenger cars. In 2010, it got the title of 'India's Most Valuable Brand' in a survey conducted by The Economic Times and Brand Finance.

P. M. Telang is the M.D. and C. Ramakrishnan is the CFO of Tata Motors. It has an annual turnover of 1,23,223 crore (1.23 trillion). Its Profit After Tax is 9,274 crore (92.74 billion). Its total assets are worth 52,209 crore (522.09 billion). It is currently being traded at 256.85 in the stock market.
