The School of Rock is an American musical comedy film. The movie revolves around the life of the rock singer and guitarist Dewey Finn who is broke and has been asked to leave his band. In order to survive and pay his bills he prevents to be a teacher and gets a job in a prestigious school. He is forced to give up his passion for rock music so that he can earn his livelihood. Though as expected he is an incompetent teacher and he is loved by his students because he gives him free hours so that he wouldn’t have to teach them anything. While in the school he does notice that the students he teaches have a musical flair in them and he nurtures that.  He does this for personal gain as well, so that he can enter the band in the Battle of the Bands and seek revenge for eviction from his own band.

The movie is a must watch for the kind of relation that Dewey Finn shares with his students.
