#2 Limewire In Fix

LimeWire, a free peer-to-peer file sharing (P2P) client program landed in soup over the songs downloaded using it. The Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) slapped Limewire with the $150,000 lawsuit claiming they should be paid each time the song was downloaded. They also said the real damages would come up to 4.5 times then the amount they are filing now.

#1 Uneducated Parents Took on Wi-Fi

The Wi-Fi technology in the schools was adopted in Chicago way back in 1995. Though it was a pretty technological advance in education system, the parents of the students thought that, Wi-Fi will cause some radiation problems. The parents filed number of lawsuits to stop the use of this wireless technology, but by then more and more number of schools adopted “Wi-Fi“, scrapping the very intention of the law suits. The wireless technology however won, parents found themselves in dumb situation.
