Sonata-Sigma team up for business solution

Mumbai: For efficient global delivery of business system solutions, Sigma, a technology firm has pitched in with the software firm Sonata Software. In accordance with the agreement, Sonata will provide business solutions based on Microsoft Dynamics AX.
The software company announced the deal in a filing to Bombay Stock Exchange on Monday. The company, which has its presence in U.K. and Germany, puts a lot of importance on the deal as viewed in the words of Dinesh Ramachandran, Sonata Software Head-Strategic Alliances, The alliance with Sigma will add to our existing delivery and sales capabilities in Europe.
U.S. based Sigma is a Life Science and High Technology company who provides biochemical and organic chemical products for scientific and genomic research, biotechnology, pharmaceutical development, the diagnosis of disease and as key components in pharmaceutical and other high technology manufacturing. It operates in 35 countries and has over 6,800 employees.
Sonata Software is a consulting and software Company. It is headquartered in Bangalore, India, and has its offices in US, UK, Germany and Singapore. Sonata has three development centers in Bangalore, Hyderabad (India) and Hanover (Germany). Sonata's shares are publicly traded in Indian Stock Exchanges. The firms services include IT Consulting, Application Development, Application Management, Managed Testing, Business Intelligence, Infrastructure Management and Outsourced Product Development.
