Sonata launches SonnetPORTAL

Bangalore: Sonata Software, a Systems Integrator and Solution Provider on Microsoft products, has announced the launch of SonnetPORTAL, a Solution Accelerator Framework on Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007. SonnetPORTAL will help organizations be productive across locations and time zones and work schedules.
SonnetPORTAL leverages Sonata's portal experience including several successful SharePoint Server 2007 rollouts in organizations across the world.
The SonnetPORTAL framework includes a set of over 30 pre-built and pre-tested re-usable assets, web parts, KPIs and Dashboards that are built to extend SharePoint Server 2007 functionality.
The Microsoft Office Center of Excellence at Sonata is engaged in building competency and providing cutting-edge solutions to customers. Sonata has been a frontrunner in the adoption of Microsoft technologies, including Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007, Office Open XML, Office Business Applications (OBA) and Microsoft Office Performance Point Server 2007.
Sonata Software will be featuring some of their Office solutions, including the Open XML to DAISY XML translator at this year's Microsoft Office System Developers Conference (ODC), which is scheduled to take place on Feb 10 to13. Sonata Software, along with three other partners, will be featured in the Open XML partner pavilion at this year's event.
