New Delhi: NComputing, a provider of desktop virtualization software and hardware, has appointed Raj Choudhury as country manager for India. Choudhury will spearhead India operations and oversee NComputing's expansion in India and he will also lead sales, channel and partner development, and operations.
A seasoned manager, Raj Choudhury brings more than 20 years of sales experience with technology companies, including HCL Technologies, HCL-Hewlett Packard and Oracle. Prior to joining NComputing, Choudhury was country sales director at BEA India, where he also led the finance, insurance, telecom, and alliances teams.
The NComputing solution consists of virtualization software that enables a single PC to be shared by many users. Each user's monitor, keyboard, and mouse are connected to a small and reliable NComputing access device, which is then connected to the shared PC. NComputing access devices and software allow as many as 30 users to share a mid-range PC, thus bringing down the cost of infrastructure, installation, and maintenance.
