New Delhi: Job portals who are offering chunk of opportunities for job seekers are now following the same strategies to reach out users which bring no uniqueness in their services, reported mint. People who have posted their resumes in different job sites with particulars in accordance with their own qualification are getting the same job alert from all the sites. Even though the alerts are flooding every day, the number of relevant opportunities will be two or three. More over all the sites feature same employment categories and in the same format. Rather than job sites, people now looking to depend their friends who are able to inform about new opening. While in the internet job hunting, one has to post resume and has to wait for the response of the employer friends may help you to catch up the entry to new career immediately. Major Job sites like naukri.com, monster.com, and jobsAhead.com have the same way of presenting information. Ahsan Zahir, a Project Manager said that when he posted resume in three websites for finding new employer all those gave him the same employment category, same alert feature and basically the same jobs. However recruiters responded differently. Bristy Srivastava, Accenture, said that as the websites work now, if you do not know exactly what you are looking for and you do not know how the portals characterize it, you might not find it. "Ambiguous job titles will not help. Search for a principal consultant job, you might wind up with more choices in technology than in your own field," he added.
