Open Group's Enterprise Architecture Practitioners Conference begins on Feb 25

Bangalore: The Open Group, a technology consortium focused on open standards and global interoperability within and between enterprises, has announced the fifth Enterprise Architecture Practitioners Conference to be held at the Leela Palace Kempinski, Bangalore on February 25 and 26. The opening keynote address at the event will be delivered by Sameer Padhye, Vice President, worldwide service provider line of business, customer advocacy, Cisco Systems.

The conference will focus on the business benefits of creating and sustaining successful enterprise architecture ecosystems. Track sessions will include case studies featuring Cathay Pacific Airways, Cisco, Hewlett-Packard, IBM, QRS and Wipro Technologies.
The three key focus areas in parallel tracks include the business value of service-oriented architecture (SOA) and an examination of such within the larger context of enterprise architecture, the value of TOGAF (The Open Group Architecture Framework), and on the increasing role of skills and experience based certification for enterprise architects and their employers.
