Logica launches second innovation center

Bangalore: London based IT service provider, Logica launches its Spark innovation center in Bangalore, to cater to the growing whirlpool of mobility solutions. This Indian center will be focused on the solutions of the future in the areas of intelligent transportation, wireless monitoring of vehicle emissions, dynamic vehicle insurance and targeted interactive advertising solutions. It is the second center for the company with the first center recently launched in Lisbon in May. This Lisbon-based center moves around the theme of Energy and Utilities, and a third innovation center will shortly be launched in Amstelveen , which will focus on 'Payments'. The Spark centers enable Logica to showcase its capabilities in identifying white spaces for innovation and the ability to develop technologies and solutions to address them. Andy Green, CEO, Logica said, "Logica's Spark innovation centers enable us to work in partnership with customers to create ideas for the future that will directly impact their bottom line. Mobility solutions are increasingly important and a focus area for almost every industry." In addition to working with customers, Logica will work with renowned universities around the globe to complete the collaboration cycle between industry and academia.
