Intersil inaugurates new design center in Hyderabad

Hyderabad: Intersil, a firm, which designs and manufactures high-performance analog semiconductors, has opened of a new design center in Hyderabad, India.
The new office is staffed with analog and mixed signal designers and will augment ongoing product development efforts at the Bangalore design center. With the addition of the Hyderabad facility, Intersil continues its expansion in the Asia-Pacific region.
The design center, called Intersil Analog Services, is located in the HiTech City section of Hyderabad, an area with a large concentration of high technology companies.
Carlos Laber, Vice President of Worldwide Technology of Intersil Corporation, said "This office provides all the facilities for our staff and also gives us room to expand in the future. This facility will help in attracting top design talent into our organization".
