Brigade launches IT SEZ project in Kerala

Bangalore: Brigade Enterprises, one of India's major developers, headquartered in Bangalore, has entered the Kerala market with an IT SEZ Project at Kochi. Brigade had recently bagged the tender to co-develop five acres of land in Kochi to develop about 6 lakh sq.ft IT SEZ space. The project, which is expected to be completed in about 2 years, will be co-developed with Info Park Kochi.
Brigade Enterprises is a multi domain organization with activities covering property development, hospitality and education. The company is also looking to expand its operation to Chennai, Hyderabad, Mangalore and Chikmagalur.
M R Jaishankar, Chairman & Managing Director, Brigade Enterprises, said "Kerala is a very promising market and we are grateful to the Government of Kerala for extending their support." The company also plans to start a luxury island resort near Kochi of international standards.
