Bay Talkitec initiates expansion through global R&D facility

Bangalore: Chennai-based Bay Talkitec, an application developer for Computer Telephony Integration business plans to expand its research and development capabilities through a global R&D facility in the city. The firm is player in the line of 3G mobile VAS video applications in India. D.Arunan, Director, Bay Talkitec said, "Bay Talkitec is currently undergoing an exciting growth phase and the advanced research and development is an integral part of our business strategy."
The company will spend two million dollars in the first year of operations at the newly 4000sq. feet inaugurated facility, focused on research and development for a wide range of technology products and platforms in the area of 3G Mobile VAS, Next Generation Contact Center solutions such as IVVR and Video enabled call centers. The global facility will start operations with 100 employees and with plans to double the number in the next two years. Infact, Arunan points out that as the country is expected to roll out 3G soon, it is natural to expand the product development capabilities for the global and local markets.
