Mayawati: The head of the Bahujan Samaj Party and former Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh Mayawati served four terms in the office. She bid to do her best for the Dalits and this had paved her way to the top of UP politics. Her leadership certainly has a great impact on the politics of UP even after she has been replaced from her ministerial position.

It was then when she was preparing for IAS exams in 1977, Kanshi Ram, the founder of the Bahujan Samaj Party inspired Mayawati to join politics. She has been praised for her fund raising efforts. She is frequently been criticized for her attempts to gain personal glory and accumulate wealth, but it has not budged her followers’ trust in her.

Uma Bharti: Former Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister, Uma Bharti is known to be one of the most religious leaders that India has ever witnessed. She was one of the most prominent leaders of the Ram Janmabhoomi movement of the 1980s and 90s organized by the BJP and the Vishva Hindu Parishad.
