Barack Obama, the U.S. President is presently serving his second term, which will give him another four years to shower his power in and around the world. However, he is up against many challenges that include unsettled budget crisis, the unfortunate high unemployment rate in U.S. along with the rekindled turbulence in Middle East. Obama still remains the Commander in Chief of the biggest military in the world and the head of the only economic and cultural superpower, which makes him the one of the world’s most powerful person. This is the first time in three years that the U.S. president has dropped to second place in the magazine's list.

3. Xi Jinping:

Xi Jinping, the political and military leader of China who ruled over 1.3 billion people, is also the General Secretary of the Communist Party of China and the 6th Chairman of the Central Military Commission. Since 2013, he has been the 7th President of the People's Republic of China. The Party’s central Military Commission is the largest army in the world. Xi has called for a renewed campaign against corruption, continued market economic reforms, an open approach to governance, and a comprehensive national renewal under the neologism ‘Chinese Dream’.
