Balvinder Kumar, DDA vice-chairman said that “while blaming the empanelled banks for the delay, the status of all the applicants would be made available from October 31. “We have offered sufficient time to the empanelled banks till October 30 to put all the required information on the website, so that it will be accessible to every applicant by October 31” Balvinder added. He also said show cause notices have been released to a few banks for delaying the process.

“They were requesting for extension till November 5th however, we have said we will take a severe action in case of delay. Once the information is uploaded, we would inform the applicants to check the information and correct mistakes if there are any. However, changes in selection of flats wouldn’t be allowed”, he said.
