2) House On Water

The futuristic floating home, ‘Home on Water’ is designed by Jedrzej Lewandowski. The distinctive feature of this home includes a lower deck and an elevated main house. This advanced floating home actually exists in today’s date which is considered as a vacation rental. The whole idea behind this home was to attract families who are keen to experience the comfort of yacht with no navigation control and bouncy ride. This house include eco-features like solar panels that is fixed on top of the house, a system that separates salt from water and a ‘Smart’ controls that is used for adjustment using a computer.

3) Ome

The floating home project ‘Ome’ is unveiled by Atoll Floating Islands, a Dubai-based joint venture between Palmerstone and Donald Starkey Designs. Built on a monocoque type style structure, Ome is designed to carry out a strategic action between Dubai’s coast and The World Islands. Ome will include both upper and lower decks. Other distinctive features include five bedrooms, large open living areas and a 10m diameter central seawater pool. Each floating unit will be integrated with power, water and waste management and will be self-sustainable.  According to Atoll estimation, each Ome would able to produce sufficient energy that can power almost six large households which will be about 30,000 KW of renewable energy.
