Family Background
I belong to a family of 4 members. My father is a retired banker from PNB, my mother is a lecturer in a degree college in UP. My sister is married and she currently works as a manager-communications with Steria. I have been married for 10 months now and my husband works for India TV.
Contribution to the field
Facio Consulting Pvt Ltd is my own venture and it is a recruitment consultancy, where we provide manpower solutions to companies. We deal in major sectors like IT,ITES,Finance and Media. We are a team of professionals who come from a recruitment background and hence there is a competetive spirit.

I have started from scratch after 9 yrs of experience. What is did differently was used my experience and learnings to practice. Women need to come out loud when it comes to the corporate sector. Most women do not pursue their career as they take break for their personal lives. They need to understand the importance of dividing their times between house and work, women are mature and make good leaders incase they have focus

I joined my first company as a junior consultant and have risen to the level of a director- operations today. I have received several certificates and appreciation for my recruitment skills and have also received certificates for leadership skills
Current job Description:
I am doing the same job, however now i focus more of the experience for people who visit my organization. I also do better planning and execution of tasks as now i am able to devote more time, this being my own venture
Career Decisions:
I decided to stick to an organisation so long as the company was giving me the opportunity to learn and grow. I went along with the companies objectives to become a true professional. After i gained enough exposure i decided to pursue my own venture with all that i learnt over the years
Vision:
To make an organisation grow both in terms of expansion, people and business ethics.
I would also wish to have a global presence eventually and prove both internal and external employment to people specially when unemployment is one of the biggest problems in the country

Challenges faced:
Attitude of men towards women is a definite problem. Being a whole sole leader men tend to look at it in surprise. At times people take things lightly considering that its only a women at the other end. I keep my professional life completely professional and look at men/women as professionals only
Essential qualities:
Patience, Perverseness, eye for detail, in depth knowledge, defining limits
After few years:
running a bigger set up with more employees and more offices....goes without saying that i would need employees to be happy working with me coz happy employees make happier organisations
