compliance with DEEC, DEPB, and EPCG licenses.
Taking
necessary insurance cover to protect goods from probable losses
during transit & storage.
Liaising with govt. authorities
like excise department for ensuring compliance with documentation
and other statutory requirements.
Notable
Contributions:
Played a key role in achieving a turnover of
Rs.200 crores. Rs 150 Cr Cotton+40 Cr Yarn+ 10 Cr Grey Cloth
sizing chemicals etc.
Active participant in the marketing
of surplus yarn with Anglo French Textiles Ltd.
Successfully
started and stabilised purchase of cotton from source giving a
yearly savings of approx Rs40 lakhs and still improving the
quality in terms of contamination control.
Organized
intermediary conversions from cotton to yarn, yarn to cloth and
grey outside processing. (Including both in-house and outsourced
material)
Saved 12% on Cotton to yarn conversion of approx
50 Mt of Yarn.
Achieved savings of 60% over a cost of Rs.1.2
Cr P.A. on storage cost of cotton by planning storage outside and
arrange deliveries on time.
Achieved a cost reduction of 20%
by selling high priced local stock and replacing with better
quality imports at a drastic lower price–Over a quantity of
approx 825 mt value Rs.4.1 cr.
Instrumental in reduction of
rejections due to contamination and improvement of production
efficiency by 5 to 8 % procuring of better imported materials
economically.
