Merox) Responsibilities (Project-JERP: Jamnagar Export
Refinery Project) • From July 2007 to dec 2007 take the
parallel charge of the hydrogen complex in EOU (Export Oriented
Unit) as a Shift Field Engineer. • Supporting the major
Hydrogen Complex projects through out the refinery system through
new technology evaluation, conceptual design and procedural
advice. • From January-2008 working in the project of the
following units & commissioned the same. 1. Z-524 – Hydrogen
Manufacturing unit (Capacity :- 181 TPD) 2. Z-395 – Hydrogen
Compressor unit (4 nos of four stage double acting reciprocating
compressors) 3. Z-418 – Pentane Merox a. Light Naphtha
Depentaniser Section (Capacity :- 45,000 BPSD) b. Pentane Stream
Treating unit (Capacity :- 30,000 BPSD) 4. Z-331 – Sat Gas LPG
Merox (Capacity :- 23,000 BPSD) 5. Z-415 – Unsate Gas LPG
Merox (Capacity :- 23,000 BPSD) • Participate in HAZOP, HEZAN,
RESOP; PHA reviews coordinate with other
disciplines. • Organizes and controls installation and
commissioning activities on site; supervising site
personnel. • Representative projects would include technology
development, planning, start-up and troubleshooting. • All
Pre-commissioning & Commissioning activities like Mechanical
clearance, Hydrotest/Pneumatic Test, Cardboard blasting, Final
box-up, leak test of the system, solo run of motors, Load run of
the motors, chemical cleaning, lube oil flushing, Tightness test
& Inertization, no-load trial of compressor, Load trials of the
compressors on nitrogen & Hydrogen, HP Steam Blowing and Header
Charging, Passivation of CW lines & exchangers, Reactor &
Reformer catalyst loading, Alkali boil out & Refractory dry out
etc.
