status. Coordinating with shipping lines in regard to the
shipment status i.e. arrival time for collection of Delivery

at ICD / CFS /Air cargo. Paying Customs, Concor & CWC &
Menzies (Air cargo) charges and removing the shipments from the
customs. Warehousing & Supervising: Receiving / Issuing
Export/Import and local / National moving shipments at
Warehouse. Maintaining Inbound & Out bound shipments
register. Segregating packers for Export / Import and
local/national moving shipments. Helping to the Warehouse
through working as Supervisor for Export/ Import and local /
national moving shipments. Logistics &
Transportation: Negotiating and booking shipments through
Air / Sea / Land. Arranging transportations for Export /
Import & Local / National movements. Insurance: Taking the
photos / pictures & claiming upon the damage/breakage items which
are insured at Overseas and intimating same to HO. If any
claim arises handing over the file to insurance department with
full details. Ensuring that insurance claim is settled in 15
days as per target. Software programming: Updating shipment
details in the software programmer (java programmer). Guide
to the shipper’s how to track their shipments through software
programmer. Reporting: Reporting to the H.O. and finance
department about the final cost of the each shipment. Taking
feed back from the Shipper’s and Closure mail upon completing
the job. Other Activities: Collecting Export & Import
shipper’s data at port it helps to the business
development. Collecting contact details of new customers by the
time of receiving / delivery of the shipments and forwarding the
same to the Business development department.
