1. Purchase:
• Responsible for
procurement of raw materials. • Responsible for identifying
individuals to build the materials team. 2. Vendor Development
: • Effective in developing new production components with
new/existing vendors • Developing new source when the demand
gets increases/ in-house capacity constraints
arise. 3. Planning & Scheduling : • Based on monthly
production schedule, preparation of monthly requirement planning
( M.R.P) • Based on preparation of monthly schedule for
vendors and issuing confirmed schedule. 4. Stores Management &
Inventory Planning : • Stock Updating: In-charge for taking
book stocks on monthly basis and physical stock verification on
half yearly basis. • Ensuring proper generation of Goods
receipt note and its routing to quality/accounts
department. • Maintaining FIFO system for self-life items and
raw materials. • Preparation of critical shortage list of
materials from stores on daily basis to maintain minimum
inventory level of all materials. • Maintaining strict
inventory controls on raw materials. 5. Documentation
: • Leading the team for achieving Quality Management
Systems. • Co-ordination with all departments and getting the
work easily.
