About Dr George Kunju John Pulikkot
I am an animal scientist specialised in feed technology. Take up noval concepts questioning the common knowledge in science. Developed new feeds to improve the conversion efficiency in animals. Tried to reduce the nutrients loss in the animal body for converting into products. Also try to produce healthy foods by reducing cholesterol in milk ,meat and egg. Often get less acceptance for the work.

Sugar is not a nutrient to human however; it is used widely in
every day life. The excess usage of it causes metabolic disorders
like obesity and even cardiac illness. The challenge is divert
sugar for animal feeding so that it could be well converted into
healthy foods like milk,meat and egg. The current animal feeds
incorporated with fatty acids causes elevation of chloesterol in
animal products. The replacing fo fatty acids with sugar may
reduce the above problem to a certain extend in future

The oil cakes with high protein content were wasted inside the
animal body due to its complex digestive system. The new
technology of 'bypass protein, could minimise the loss. The
development of UMMB feed supplement assisted the above
technology. Several feed plants were set up in India to support
milk
