About Anurag Gupta
I have a Masters degree with specilization in Management Information System and Research Methodology and more than 8 years experience in IT industry and in-depth understanding of Information Systems, Database Processes, Structured Methodologies and Monitoring & Evaluation of development projects. I have an in depth experience in rural community based projects and have worked often in various international and national projects. I have also trained in survey & mapping, designing and development of GIS & MIS; computer programming, database/software design, development & management, and demonstrated on many assignments his excellent capacity in designing and supervising project-wide Information Systems (GIS/MIS), monitoring and evaluation systems, requiring an overall understanding of the interdependence of all project components, and in the development project Log frames.
During my varied experiences as expert and consultant on projects financed by the World Bank, JBIC/JICA, EU, IFAD, CIDA, UNICEF, UNDP, DFID, SAP-International, Government of India, State Government and others, I have become familiar with the administrative procedures of a wide variety of donor and lending organizations. I have experience in forestry projects, rural development, tribal development and agriculture projects.
