. I'm suppose to help the Client's to get there computer
connected to our server through different software’s. The
Software is based on the company's preference. At present I deal
with RACE (BASIC, LITE, PRO) and ODIN (RALLY) software. Since
these software’s are trading oriented and based on real time
technology, there should be a proper connectivity between the
host and the server so that clients can get a real time rates.
After getting these software's installed, I'm suppose to check
whether the client is getting proper connectivity by using
commands like PING and TELNET. In case there are further issues
or the Client is not able to get the problem resolved by taking
the instructions, I have to take REMOTE ACCESS and resolve the
issues faced by the customer remotely. Issues with Internet
Connectivity, Sites like FTP, HTTP and some other Secured Sites
were the troubleshooting that we also deal with.
