The Decisions That Matter
My career was always about learning at each stage rather than positions or money. I always look out to face new challenges. I have believed in "intrepreneurship" while I worked 15 years in job. My life changing and brave decision came in when I left my high paying job to start on my own.
Plans For The Future:
I want to see that we make good progress in the education sector I have stepped in from 2008.
Other Thoughts:
My husband and I often discussed that if anything happens to IT sector we wouldnt be able to work in any other industry. After 15 years of working in the IT industry, I decided to enter the education sector and I am loving the learning here.
Job Profile:
I am one of the founder directors and investor in the MARC School of Business that was started in 2008 along side with my father. My role here is in all areas: admissions, marketing and placements. Now with more staff & directors added to our team I take care of admissions and operations.
The Journey So Far:
I have enjoyed my time in the corporate world constantly focusing on personal and professional growth. I have so much to pass on to the freshers and inexperienced.
Growth Strategy:
To keep grounded and keep in touch with the current generation from most of the learning comes from. Also to continue learning from peers and the older generation. I don't want to ever feel accomplished, the learning process should continue.
Done Differently:
Since my personal and professional life has always been about growth through experiences, I dont see any phase of my professional life as bad or to be changed.
Advice For New Professionals:
Today's professionals are after a quick buck. Dont chase money, gather talent and good will instead, rest will follow
