Important decision
From my childhood, I was a sincere student and I vowed to do hard work for my future with limited resources.In M.E.School, Avana, I studied very hard day and night and was selected first in my district Balasore to receive the National Rural Talent Search Examination Scholarship in 1971. I was the best Debator in my school and also in my Block. I was a brilliant student in my school and could have studied any subject. I passed Nutan Madhyama in Sanskrit alongwith I.Sc.Thereafter,I preferred Statistics and Mathematics alongwith English and Odiya Literature in B.A.(Hons.) when I competed Diploma in Russian language.I was selected for National Scholarship and did First Year in M.A.(Statistics) at Utkal University.Then I joined JRF of IARI in Agricultural Statistics and completed M.Sc.I completed coursework for Ph.D.in Ag.Stat when I was selected third in ISS 1982 through UPSC.I worked in such organizations where I had enough exposure to Computers,EDP,MIS,System Analysis and completed M.Tech.(CS).
Couple of years from now
I hope for the Best. At present I am working in SAG grade in Govt.Of India. After the cadre review, I may get one more promotion.
Initiative to develop a country
Honest Social Service,Hard Work and Up-gradation of Skills are the Mantras of professionals to develop India.
Important lesson learned
Never breakdown in any downfall. Be true,honest and brave to face any challenge. Of course,Health is Wealth.
Degree that I recommend
I have completed coursework for Ph.D. twice from IARI & IITD and have published many papers. Then in 2010 I did Advanced Management Programme from IIM,Lucknow. I donot think I require any more Degree.
My achievements
I have successfully completed 30 Years in Group A Govt.of India Service. I did several projects in IT Software through Mainframe,Mini,PC Computers and Laptops. I have attended Large number of Training and Conferences in IT Software,Hardware, communication and Management.
My role model
During my College Days I was highly inspired by many Socialistic Poets.
More about myself
During my Graduation, I joined National Social Service for two years and try to do social work in my spare time even now. I handled many Publications in Govt.Of India in several Depts, during my work.I am a religious man believing in God. Sometimes I try to sing songs and Bhajans.
My strongest skill
Leadership,Human Resource Management,Business Communication,Business Intelligence,Business Accounting,Business Strategy,Databases,MIS,Statistics,IT Softwares like Oracle,SPSS,STRATA etc.,Agriculture,Biomedical Skills.
Brief description about me
I am an Odiya Brahmin by birth and the 2nd son of Late Manmath Nath Panda and Smt.Sarojini Panda in Balasore district of Odisha. I was a school topper of Avana High School and had a first class in I.Sc in F.M.College,Balasore. I was Best Arts Graduate of Ravenshaw College,Cuttack and of Utkal University in 1979 and won 2 gold medals. I was topper in M.Sc. at I.A.R.I,Newdelhi-12 in 1982 and had M.Tech.(Computer Science) from IIT,Delhi in 1988 with OGPA 8.24 out of 10.Lateron in 2010 I did Advanced Management Programme from IIM,Lucknow with foreign component at RMIT,Melbourne and at University of Technology,Sidney in Australia.
Qualities needed to become a successful leader
Democratic, People, Objective & Goal-Oriented Qualities are required to become a successful Leader.
Thoughts on Education system of our country
Education should be free to all and easily accessible. There should be more Vocational Education. Facilities in educational Institutions in India should be Improved to meet the World Standards.
Ensuring success
I always try to upgrade my skills and to update my knowledge to grow and develop.
My family background
In my joint family all of my brothers and cousins are educated and are in salaried class. My wife is a renowned Economics Teacher. My daughter is in TCS and my son is in 3rd Year B.Tech.(CIVIL)in DTU,Delhi. We are happy with what we get from our earnings.

Many courageous luminaries of Odisha like Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose,Fakir mohan Senapati,Gopabandhu Das,Biju Pattnaik and many others influenced me for their sacrifice for India.
