An alumnus of XLRI, Jamshedpur ,has 21 years of Corporate experience and 15 years experience in academics-to cover Teaching, research, academic administration and Institutional building. Has held very senior positions in leading Corporate in the Country, published articles in referred journals and carried extensive Industry & academic research.

At one level, the fact that the courses & curriculum offered in the PGDM Programme have been bench-marked against some of the leading & Internationally recognized B-Schools, besides is contemporary, marker relevant , periodically updated, rigorous and aligned to the changing business landscape. The spread & depth of the courses -either in the respective functional streams such as HR, Marketing etc OR sectoral specialization such as Travel, Tourism & Hospitality /Logistics & SCM/Telecom Management provides a vast array of choices for students besides caters to a large range of Industry verticals, geared to provide high impact & employment and the courses are taught by subject experts with rich academic & corporate experience.
The Acharya School of Management has over the last several years strengthened its academia-Industry interface initiatives & network due to which all students are guaranteed a three month internship programme in leading Corporate houses

Maintaining quality of education in college
Quality is the centre-piece of the Vision, overarching philosophy and the academic charter of the Acharya Institutes. In order to operationalize the Quality initiatives, we have adopted a three -pronged strategy.
At one level, we have institutionalized the quality systems through the Quality Implementation Centre of the Acharya Institutes QUICAI[ read Quick-eye] , an initiative that cuts across each of the constituent Institutes and is headed by a senior Professor & practitioner ,who reports to the Chairman .The platform provides all the stakeholders within the academic system ,an opportunity to participate in and influence in the development & growth of educational standards through a competitive system of a well designed and administered Governance policies ,Systems, Process and Procedures .
At another level, each of the affiliate Institutions are required to continuously seek & conform to the prescribed regulatory norms besides at regular intervals seek the requisite academic credentials for running each of the Institutions as are required under the statute and more importantly ,continuously raise the academic bar in keeping with the rising stakeholder aspirations.
At the third level, each of the Institutions continuously reviews their academic curriculum , the personal learning plans of students , student & Faculty feedback, teacher -related developmental needs , pedagogical approaches & styles ,learning abilities , marker developments , recruiters requirements etc and carries out suitable Teaching-Learning -Outcome based interventions aimed at continuously improving the systems & procedures.
As may be seen, "quality" is an ingrained philosophy in every sphere of working of the Acharya Institutes. Let us remember that the Acharya School of Management is a constituent of the Acharya Institutes.

The current curriculum in Management education does not teach students the basic skills to face challenges in the rapidly changing business environment -challenges of managing people, rapidly changing technology and running an enterprise, to name a few.
Thus successful Mangers cannot be built inside the classrooms. The Institution and the programme curriculum must provide abundant opportunities for participating in extra/co-curricular activities to hone her/his socializing, networking, presentation, communication, leadership, reading, analytical, adaptability and other business skills which will be required at the work place .At another level, participation in extra/co-curricular activities will enable students to get into a reflective & introspective mode, which will help them to rediscover themselves.
